Empire Focuses represent high-level strategic priorities that guide an empire's development and decision-making.
Empires can pursue different focuses, such as Exploration for scientific advancement and discovery, Conquest for military dominance, and Development for economic and diplomatic growth. Completion of Focus Tasks will progress the associated Focus and lead to new guaranteed Technologies.
Tasks and Focuses are visible in the Empire Focus tab of the 
Situation Log View.
