This map mode visualizes any Cosmic Storms in the galaxy, with information on their effects.
To access the weather forecast map mode, click the map icon in the bottom right.
With advanced technology, it can be upgraded to give increasingly accurate predictions not only of the location and direction of a Cosmic Storm, but also what type of storm to expect.
