Waystations are space stations, built by
Nomadic Empires, that can collect celestial resources and form interstellar trade routes, known as
Waylines.
Resources collected by Waystations are held in the Waystation Stockpile until visited by a
Logistic Ship or
Arkship.
Waystations can be constructed in
Systems without permission from the System Owner, which incurs Diplomatic Penalties with the System Owner, granting them the Nomadic Expulsion War Goal. Signing a Wayline Pact will remove these penalties.
The number of Waystations an empire can support is limited by its Station Capacity.
