Structural Awareness
MachineMechanicalNomadsStructural Awareness is a biological species trait in Stellaris 4.5.2 that costs 1 trait point. It is for Machine and Mechanical species and can be picked when a species is created. It gives +100% Researcher Workforce, +100% Metallurgist Workforce and +100% Artisan Workforce. Opposite of Physics Core, Sociology Core and Engineering Core.

Opposite traits
A species cannot have this trait together with any of these.

Sociology Core
Engineering CoreWhen modification offers it
species_potential_add and species_possible_add: when genetic or robotic modification shows and allows the trait (the wording is ours).
In the game
Designed to live within the Arkship, these machines continuously map its internal stresses, flows, and routines. Different arkship designs produce different patterns, and they iteratively optimize their behavior to match the vessel they inhabit.
