How to get Archaeostudies

Research in Stellaris is drawn: each area offers 3 cards at a time, weighted by each technology's draw weight (here 70) and its weight modifiers. Tier 2 opens after 6 tier 1 technologies of the same area. As a rare technology it is drawn less often, and some rare ones only appear after an event, a relic or a special project.

It needs no other technology.

In the game

This new field of studies focuses on the practical applications of ancient artifacts. We are far from being the first galactic civilization to tread these stars. With a bit of work, their legacies could secure our future.
